Garkun – All About Video Games

So I’d like to start playing final fantasy but I would like to know if I would miss anything in the storyline if I didn’t start from the first final fantasy. The seventh one looks awesome so I’d like to know some suggestions or advice from those who actually have played all of the them or majority or even if you started from the more recent final fantasies. also, what is the difference with the advent children one? Thanks!

ive played 1-4. but how can you have multiple final fantasys?

I have yet to figure out what the big deal is with Final Fantasy. I would like to get into it, but the one time I played it the combat was just frustrating. What do fans of the series find so engrossing?
