I love to have this game on virtual console next to catrap that I already have. I like games with a less serious tone of butt kickage, puzzle solving and plenty of levels to do it on.

This game used to piss me off A LOT as a kid.
I don’t recall the main point of AVGN’s rant being about how horrible the gameplay was, but instead why they would make a game like this and call it Godzilla. He was saying that the gameplay was nothing like what you would imagine a Godzilla game to be and in this regard I would have to agree with him. It’s like if I took a man that was dressed in futuristic armor, called him Master Chief, put him in a game about motorcycles and called it Halo.
