Classic Game Room – NINTENDO 3DS hardware review pt1

Part 1 of 2: Classic Game Room reviews NINTENDO 3DS hardware from Nintendo, Nintendo’s answer to gaming on mobile phones, tablets, iPhones, cell phones and everything else that is cutting into their market. The 3DS allows for 3D gaming without annoying 3D graphics, but the 3D effect can be harsh to look at over lengthy periods of time and doesn’t work well with every videogame.

@bigrich3849 You see this is what I’m talking about. Nowhere in your rambling incoherent response did you come even close to answering my specific question regarding the technical abilities of both handhelds.

@surefire1986 well the psp is a great hand held console with excellent graphics i find the games are not quite as enjoyable. nds has a extreme library of games , (3ds will grow rapidly over time). I think sony’s game developers have had abit of a slow down with psp games. On the hole i would get a 3ds. Im still pissed with sonys bad attitude towards its customers from the hole hacking problem in June/July this year. Was a real kick in the teeth & keep well away from the pspgo.

I have a question regarding the Nintendo 3DS and PSP, but I can’t get an educated answer, because everytime I ask I get 13 year old fanboys giving irrelevant answers. Purely on a hardware level, how much more capable is the 3DS when compared to the current PSP-3000? Athough Early, the 3DS games do not seem to be significantly better looking than the PSP’s best games. Can someone give me a rundown on the processor, ram, etc when compared with the PSP 3000?

    psp 3d?

  7. SakuraAvalon says:

@TwistedN Yes, I have, and while it’s nice, I’ve heard other 3DS owners attest to having migrane headaches before 30 minutes passed. I, rarely use the 3D as it merely kills the pathetic battery even sooner.

  8. NintendmanMidget says:

If you get headaches from this you are a pussy bitch

  9. jimmyelgringito says:

@WolfpackRoses This, it’s $80 cheaper and it has a bunch of games coming soon :D

  11. jimmyelgringito says:

@noje999 Either way, the 3DS is better :P

  12. jimmyelgringito says:

@Emerald1470 Buy a Zelda crystal case, the wobble stops :P

  13. s41793 says:

@lokks707 At least for me, the 3DS does give me a headache after a few hours of playing, but I agree, the coolness of the 3D effect wears off quickly.

  14. Emerald1470 says:

Dose your 3DS top screen wobble please let me know

  15. Supergamerofchaos says:

  17. collnorway says:

    @lokks707 No, I have a 3DS… And the 3D give me headaches.

  18. PSspecialist says:

@Supergamerofchaos you can go fuck yourself fanboy. a true gamer never insults a console unless the console insults him. e.g cd-i, 3do, virtual boy etc

  19. Skyrex93 says:

@BestGames98 yes battery lasts about 6-8 hours playin original ds games :)

  20. Supergamerofchaos says:

  24. GlibSweaterVest says:

I bought the original Nintendo DS, the month it came out…
I haven’t bought another one since, until I bought the 3DS a couple weeks ago.
Its still in great condition. :D

  25. gocartown says:

Isn’t the DSi essentially a ds lite with more online features and lack of older backwards compatibity for the Game Boy games.
