Off topic: I prefer Yoshitaka Amano’s style over Nomura’s tbh.
I accept any FF and welcome its new introduction, but for ME FFXIII was very bad, I just said what I felt. I don’t say you don’t have to buy that, I was just all pointing to myself.
FFX was much different and better for me.
Actually, love story works, ask and you will be amazed that people prefer it…

X was my first FF and it’s good, it’s as linear as XIII
XIII had a great story, a fantastic music, and the best characters in my opinion
and a ‘old school FF fan’ every FF is different! so how can you compare the titles? Every FF is a new invention of itself? and we don’t always need Romances, read Romeo and Juliet if you need Romance.
and you judge a OST by the composer? I prefer Masashi Hamauzu actually^^

Sold my FFXIII ’cause it was crap, won’t buy this shit either. Call me a hater, but I’m completely old school FF fan. As I said before, FFX was the last great FF. Great graphical effects, but no story and dull gameplay makes FF a total shit nowadays. Where the hell is love story, remarkable characters, magical OSTs by Nobuo-san? And yet, it turned into the damn action RPG game! Enix so sucks, I miss old Square team.

@Sonetodecirene Nah I just like laughing at people that praise game before their release and soon afterwards begin seeing what kind of shit they spent their money on. Same thing happened for XIII, a lot of anticipation and excitement, only to be surprised by how shit it was. And again by XIV there was HUGE excitement and expectations, only to see what kind of a rats furry ass XIV really was. I will warn you, get exited for this crap and when it comes out you will be disappointed.

@GenerationBright but still it looks like that one scene involving noel getting stabbed in the chest guts it didn’t show blood but chaos falling out. and besides, all that damage that caius took, wouldn’t that be enough to make blood come out? and serah getting stabbed.

Final Fantasy XII I wasn’t a huge fan of (it was alright) but I thought XIII was fantastic in its’ own ways. I appreciate that FF constantly re-invents itself, unfortunately people like you just want clones of their favorite installments.

Final Fantasy is no longer the same as before. An RPG with novel, interesting plot, and just a bit of comedy! Becoming just an action game with the style of the Matrix … Best Final Fantasy I ever played was Final Fantasy X! I think there will never like this Final Fantasy … Unfortunate change … Miss the time …
