How do I connect a NES to a tv without an external antenna or cable jack?

Question by Sarah: How do I connect a NES to a tv without an external antenna or cable jack?
i have a 1985 NES system which i used to have hooked up to an older tv with an antenna. the rf cord which came with the system plugged into the system and into where the antenna normally goes on the tv. however i recently switched to a newer (though still semi outdated) television which has no antenna. how can i hook up my NES?

That’s not a TV, it’s a monitor, so it has no tuner. You could use an old VCR, if the monitor has composite inputs. Connect the NES to the antenna input on the VCR, then out from the VCR to the composite input on the monitor.

Use A/V cables. The NES will have A/V out jacks on the side, at least the one I have does.
