Question by Manswers: Is Microsoft really getting rid of xbox original games online play?
If so can you still play xbox live on original xbox games on the xbox 360 still? or is xbox live gone for good for xbox original live play?

Yes. From what I read, MS will stop supporting all XBX games so even if you have a 360, you still cannot play XBX games on XBL.

    Yes that is true. All original Xbox games will not have online play because it costs too much to support the servers. Since most players play Xbox360 online.

    Servers are indeed shutting down, but you still can play them, just no online play. Not sure if you still want to download DLC if it would still be available though.
