Born Elizabeth Grant (June 21, 1986) now better known by her stage name Lana Del Ray. Her stage name is a combination of the late old Hollywood actress Lana Turner and the Ford Del Rey Lana’s song “Video Games” was named “Best New Track” by Pitchfork Tickets for Grant’s show in London sold out in half an hour She wrote the song with songwriter Justin Parker after he played her the piano chords that would become its backbone. @flywithseaguls What do you mean by “real”? Do explain. Because Radiohead all went to public school, does that make their work less “real”? Being wealthy doesn’t invalidate your emotions, and as for being “trained”, are you honestly so naive as to think that ANY top singers get where they are without training? The X-Factor may have convinced you that “God given talent” is everything, but all top professional singers train day after day because their voice is an instrument like any other.

she reminds me of amy winehouse. when amy did live performances, you could never tell what she was thinking because she had a dead kind of expression on her face. lana does the same thing.
