Question by Chad: My Xbox got the three red rings earlier today but is working now. How long before it dies for good?
I was playing COD and my game froze. I restarted it and I got the 3 rrod. After 30 minutes of restarting my system the red rings would show up sometimes and my Xbox would work others. I prolly got rrod about 12 times but it’s back on now and I am playing. Everything is plugged in so I don’t think that is the problem. How long until my Xbox officially dies for good?

Who knows. it could be tomorrow, it could be next year.
You just don’t know for sure, but its probably coming sooner then later.

Who knows when it will die for sure but if it’s still under warranty even a 1 year expired you can get it replaced for the cost of shipping it down there ($ 8 at UPS) you get a band new box not to mention a brand new warranty.
What I do know is that the longer you wait the worse it will get and eventually your warranty will run out and your box will not work, then it’ll cost $ 100 to fix (if you send it to xbox)
