Without looking at these mice — here are the important things to keep in mind.
1: Does your hand fit comfortable on the thing? Can you reach the buttons?
2: does it have a high DPI number – the higher the better
3: if its wireless – how does it recharge? do you prefer that recharge system? (some do not have OFF switches on the bottom – make sure it DOES have an off switch or it will be dead by the time you haul it on vacation because its bouncing around in your bag using its energy up)
4: if it is wireless – What is its Range? Some can only go 3 or 4 feet… others can go 20 feet. Some are line of site – some are RF or Blue tooth…
5 What software is required to make your OS understand it? Some of the coolest newest mice for sale – DO NOT WORK ON WINDOWS 7 – Did you know that if you install a Synapsis touch pad for your mouse – then logitech software to run your remote control – then Windows Setpoint for yuor microsoft controller – that the software will conflict with each other – microsoft will force the removal of logitec – remove your touchpad settings – etc… Now imagine some third party mouse software — it may totally screw up the works if it is not designed properly…
5a – to partially get around this issue install software in this order:
Synapsis touchpad (for laptops) followed by Microsoft mouse drivers — followed by logitec drivers followed by XMOUSE – (which controls any mouse button and tells it what you want it to do)
