Question by Wellll… hello then!: What kind of video games do you like playing a lot of the time, why that type?
Is it first person shooters? What positive effects do you know for certain that these games you play have on you? Do you think first person shooters could make you able to handle yourself affirmatively if you actually were put into one of these video game scenarios in life at some future time? Or,are video games just a waste of the time you have left on earth, with no real benefits at all?

I perfer search and qonquest games, like Pokemon. Yeah, It’s kind of “kiddie”, but the designers really pack a lot of game into those little cartriges that have gotten smaller and smaller, and I think they did a fantastic job.

I enjoy most type of video games. however my favorite would have to be Action/adventure or RPG/strategy for me strategy/tactics is an important aspect of of both military and mid-evil history (my chosen major.) video games can develop hand-eye coordination improve dexterity and relieve stress (much like hitting a punching bag or going target shooting) puzzle games can stimulate nerve connections in the brain and develop problem solving and math skills. video games serve as a type of temporary escape, much like a film or book, but at a more interactive level than the aforementioned. they can provide a level of networking like facebook or even this* yahoo answers.
I like to play action and adventure games. games like pokemon, as one of the other guys said :yeah it’s a bit kiddie, but they sure pack a lot into those games”. In the ds pokemon games such as pokemon platinum there are a heap of things to do, defeat the gym leaders, train pokemon, finish the Sinnoh deck, etc, etc. and that’s just to start with.
I also like the WWE games, they are really fun, fast paced and they have a million and one possible moves. (not really). with there being almost all of favourite characters. and on the PS2/3 the graphics are great and there a heap of match types.
there are also games like age of empires where you build your civilisation and conquer theirs. these games take a couple of hours usually but a great if you fell like a mental challenge.
and also games like guitar hero if you feel like jamming
enjoy!
I am a music game lover. I play all kinds:Rock Band, Guitar Hero, DDR, Beatmania, and Drumania. I just love the sense of rhythm and the fact that feeling that i could actually play all the extremely hard songs. Plus, on DDR I get on heck of a workout playing it at least 3 hours a time
