Why does my NES console still blink red after being cleaned and having the pins replaced?

Question by Buddy_Lee_Hombre_de_accion: Why does my NES console still blink red after being cleaned and having the pins replaced?
I have a few NES consoles laying around. One console, with age, eventually started to be picky with games. It eventually would reset itself within minutes of starting every game. I cleaned it and nothing changed. I let it sit in the closet for awhile and later on it refused to accept any games. It just blinked red, no other color. Today I replaced the pins and deep cleaned the system. It is still blinking red no matter what I do. Any ideas?

Make sure the pins are secure and even with the circuit board.

You could also have a faulty reset switch. The game may start up, but immediately reset. The pins don’t fix this.
